David McLaughlin, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. McLaughlin graduated from Indiana University School of
Medicine, and after his OB-GYN residency, he pursued a career in
treating female reproductive disorders. In 1981 he learned the
IVF technique from Dr. Alan Trounson in Melbourne, Australia.
When he practiced in Dayton, Ohio, he pioneered the only
Vatican-approved ART procedure, Tubal Ovum Transfer (TOT),
published in the Lancet. In 2005, along with the Follas brothers
and his sons, he opened the Follas Center for Reproductive
Medicine to offer individualized, compassionate, state-of-the-art
office-based IVF.
SCOTT McLAUGHLIN, Partner, Follas Center for Reproductive Medicine
Scott graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Corporate Finance. In 1995, serving as Corporate Financial Officer (CFO), along with his family, he helped transition his father's medical practice into Reproductive Surgery and Medicine, which later became Women's Specialty Health Centers, P.C. In 2004, as a medical office partner, he helped design and build the Phoenix Medical Plaza, which houses the office-based IVF facility, the Follas Center for Reproductive Medicine.
JEFF McLAUGHLIN, Partner, Follas Center for Reproductive Medicine
Jeff graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Entrepreneurship. Serving as Chief Operating Officer, he helped organize his father's GYN practice in 1995 by instituting systems to maximize the medical practice's efficiency, particularly focusing on patient service. As a partner in the Phoenix Medical Plaza, he helped order equipment and create systems to promote patient comfort and efficiency in the Follas Center for Reproductive Medicine.
DAN FOLLAS, Partner, Follas Center for Reproductive Medicine
Dan graduated from Manchester College with a degree in Biology and Chemistry and later obtained his Master's degree from Purdue University. He partnered with his brother to form Follas Labs, which filled the need for accurate timely results for clinical tests ordered by Indianapolis and other Indiana physicians. Pathology Associates realized their commitment to excellence and expediency and purchased Follas Labs. Dan serves as the scientific director of Follas Center for Reproductive Medicine.
EVAN FOLLAS, Partner, Follas Center for Reproductive Medicine
Evan graduated from Manchester College with a degree in Economics. With his brother Dan, he formed the successful clinical laboratory, Follas Labs, which specialized in meeting the needs of infertility and other physicians throughout the state. Recently, Follas Labs was integrated into Pathology Associates, where Evan serves as Director of Marketing. Evan's role in the Follas Center for Reproductive Medicine is to help patients maximize insurance reimbursement (when available) and serve as a liaison with insurance networks.
Andrew Weston, Ph.D., Laboratory Director
From the Universities of Georgia, Arkansas, Oregon and Cornell
University, Dr. Weston has earned a national reputation of
excellence in IVF technologies. He has specialized in animal and
human reproductive research, and has received a grant from the
prestigious National Institutes of Health (NIH). He serves as IVF
laboratory director for the Follas IVF Center, overseeing all quality
aspects of the lab to maximize your chance of conception.
Amy Delumpa, M.D., Director of Anesthesia
Dr. Delumpa, a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine,
completed her anesthesia residency at University of Illinois in
Chicago. As a board certified anesthesiologist, she practiced her
specialty at Tipton Hospital prior to taking a sabbatical to raise
her children. The Follas IVF Center is privileged to have Dr.
Delumpa make our IVF patients comfortable during their
procedures.
Kassi Shelton, B.S., Embryologist
A Purdue graduate, Kassi is experienced in animal and human
reproduction and provides the day-to-day support for the IVF
laboratory’s excellence. She is a stickler for quality assurance and
accurate reporting our data for SART.
